Let's Talk Baseball
Every week, husband and wife team Ron & Jill Wolforth (www.TexasBaseballRanch.com) talk, debate and argue with each other and the experts about America’s Favorite Pastime. It’s all about baseball – Big Leagues, Youth, on the field and behind the scenes. Is the coach of your kid’s baseball team driving them too hard? Or is Dale Sveum not driving those Cubs hard enough? Hear advice on good nutrition – and about the latest “non-steroid steroid” in circulation. Catch it all here with the Wolforths, America’s “First Family of Baseball”.

The St. Louis Cardinals squeak into the playoffs and walk-away with the ring while the Texas Rangers go home empty handed for the second straight year.  This week Coach and Jill will talk about the exciting series as well as the retirement of Cardinals Manager Tony Larussa.  They'll also share some highlights from their recent trip to California.

The classroom segment will cover the topic of "Being Relentless".  Coach & Jill will discuss why it's important along with where and how it can be applied.

This week Coach Wolforth & Jill are going to discuss a well documented physical flaw in Major League Baseball players as well as a well documented behavioral flaw in some professional athletes and how either one of these flaws can limit long term growth and success.  They'll also discuss exactly what lesson those of us not in the fishbowl of professional sports or entertainment can take from these two mistakes of the famous and talented.

The classroom segment will cover the importance of creating an "Indomintable Spirit".  Whether your a coach creating it in your athletes or an athlete developing that spirit yourself, you don't want to miss this segment.

The classroom segment is going to provide some red meat for everyone interested in pitching.  The topic will be on "Developing Command in Pitchers" with some innovative ideas that really can help improve command.

Playoffs are here and what an exciting finish to the regular season.  Many people are talking about the September collapse of the Red Sox & Braves.  Coach Wolforth and Jill will touch on that but their focus this week is on two last day decisions, one by a player and the other by a playoff team, that they found to be the most intriguing and possibly disturbing of all the events taking place on the final day of the 2011 regular season.  Find out what those were.

The classroom segment is on the topic of "Commitment".  How are you doing with the commitments in your life?  Coach & Jill will go through them with you.
