On this week's show Coach & Jill discuss the questions, "Are we living in the end of times?" and "Did we see signs of the apocalypse this week?" Yes, they are referring to baseball as this week we saw 50 year-old Roger Clemens make his debut, of sorts, with the Sugar Land Skeeters, pitching 3 1/3 scorless innings AND at the very same time the Washington Nationals are shutting down their 24 year-old ace Stephen Strausburg. No question about it, you can't make this stuff up, we are definitley living in some strange times. Coach & Jill are going to comment on the Rocket's return as well as give an update on Strasburg's pending shutdown.
In the classroom segment they will discuss Ranch Difference #3. It is "Why We Reject the Genetic Freak Theory of Performance."

On this week's show, Coach Wolforth and Jill discuss the Stephen Strasburg situation and the debate on the Washington Nationals shutting him down for the season. The Nationals currently have the best record in the National League and a very good argument could be made that Strasburg is their ace. So, it will be interesting watching how things play out. Don't miss Coach Wolforth's interesting take on their dilema.
The classroom segment elaborates on what Coach Wolforth calls "Ranch Difference #2", which is that they reject the concept of cooking cutting or cloning athletes with a one size fits all approach to development. Be entertained this week as they tie this discussion to a recent fishing trip.
